Anniversary Wishes

Good morning to you all

Today is my chosen day to inspire you for

Today I have gone with a card.  I made this lovely PATP edged card for my Aunt and Uncle who were celebrating 40 years of marriage and what a special day it was with a double Lancaster Flyby too :)
I just had to use the Wild Rose Studio image - Parisian Stroll and those gorgeous Wedding Bells papers along with the sentiment from the Wedding Circles set, the dies are also Wild Rose Studio oval frame and ornate heart
I created the card using a 6 3/4 square and that lovely MS double heart punch and then used my pierced rectangle to create layers to add my image on top off.  I added a band of delicious lace and added the

over the top of this, before adding the frantage heart, the sentiment, the heart rhinestone sparkler, the charm and of course the selection of flowers from Clickit4Crafts and the Hobby House on this occasion.

here is the close up of the image coloured in copics and edged in distress inks

I would like to take a moment to say hello to all my new followers and thank all of my visitors for their wonderful comments, which allows me to hop over and visit you in return.

Me and CAS!!!! - with Crafty Ribbons

Morning all

Today is the next challenge over at

The challenge this week is sort of special as it is Crafty Ribbons Birthday so the theme is

Birthday and Ribbon

so do hope over and take a look at the fabulous sponsors and of course all of that delicious inspiration from the design teams, yes we have all joined together for this one

I chose to use one of the images provided by one of the sponsors
Bugaboo
called Birthday Ewe

and I went with a CAS card, I know not me, well it started off CAS but well I had to use some Ribbon, so it started to swiftly turn into one of my normal cards, as I could not help myself.

So here it is
I made an aperture card, I know so different for me, but think the image called for it, see below I took a photo of it closed
I used my copics to colour the image, one of my pierced MFT dies to make the aperture and also to cut out the image.  I added some orange ribbon, and then took it off (so loud, and did not work well at all) finally I settle for this

Monochrome Ribbons - 25mm Sheer Silver/Black

I think this ribbon works perfectly, soft enough to fold around the aperture and beautiful to make the triple bow out of, I also gave the bow extra tales, before adding a Hobby House Rhinestone Fancy Button and a few pearls that I found at the bottom of my pearl draw, I could not find any other black ones (mental note must by some black pearls)

Here is the card open so you can see the aperture

As always I would like to welcome all of my new followers and thank all of my wonderful visitors, who leave a comment so that I can hop over and see your own fabulous work.

Don't forget I still have my WRS candy on offer in the sidebar, just a few more days to go :)

So Sweet for Christmas with WRS new releases

Good morning to you all

Back again with another creation to showcase some of the new releases from

Using

Another Teal and Pink number :)

The base layer and contrast is again pink card stock.  I layered up those gorgeous papers, added my flourish, thoroughly glittered up and then wrapped around the ribbon.  I raised the image slightly and then added the sentiment now the rectangle pierced MFT smallest die fits perfect in this holly frame.  I added some glitter around the sentiment and then those pearls, before finishing off with a small pink medallion and some pink rhinestones (the ribbon, pearl strings and rhinestones are from the Hobby House)
see the page link above for where I shop

Now for those close ups
The image coloured in copics, with a little stickles for the ground.

That Holly Die

Isn't it sweet

How Charming

Good morning to you

It's Happy Friday again and another lovely little Christmas card to share with you

I went with a Hobby House Mo Manning Topper

I used a base layer of cream and this is the contrast also.  I matched the topper with these gorgeous papers from a pack I bought at Grimsby Crafts.
I used a grand decorative circle nestie, a couple of Woodware punched tags some ribbon flowers from my stash.
Before finishing of with those tiny tiny pearls and the charm from the Hobby House, link in my side bar.

A CAS Thank you

Good morning to you all

Thought I would pop on today and share with you a card that I created to say thank you to a lovely lady in our area, who made such a lovely spray of flowers for a funeral I needed to attend, sorry no photo's of the flowers, but here is the card, I used some of my new stamps and yes it is another CAS, it is all I could manage around the painting of my kitchen lol.

The base card is black to allow me to add just the one layer and this colour picked up the colours on the creation. I had earlier cut out a circle so used this to create the colour using memento inks.  I stamped the grasses in black along with the butterflies and the sentiment.  I added some stickles to the grasses and some small pearls from the Hobby House to the butterflies and voila.

A warm welcome to my new followers, and I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave me such inspirational and kind comments, and this then allows me to hop on over and visit you in return.

Don't forget my current candy in the side bar :)

CAS Merry Xmas with Wild Rose Studio

Morning to you all

As you know that a Wednesday is my Wild Rose Studio day so I am back again with another of those gorgeous

from

Using
Dies -Merry Xmas

My photography does not show this well at all.  The base layer is green mirror card and then a layer of red too, I then added the white layer before adding the green mirror card cut die.  I cut the die again in the red and added the cut outs from the red into the green, looks really effective honestly.

A warm welcome to my new followers, and I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave me such inspirational and kind comments, and this then allows me to hop on over and visit you in return.

Don't forget my current candy in the side bar :)

So Using
Image - Mouse on Bauble
Papers - Robins Christmas
Sentiment - Christmas Labels

I went with a Blue themed Christmas Card

The base layer and contrast is that lovely navy blue, which works so well with the papers.  I added a ribbon behind the image to allow me to add the triple bow.  I also added a rhinestone fancy button, a charm and some large pearls.  All of the embellishments today are from the Hobby House.
see the links below.

The image today is coloured in copics with some silver glaze gel sakuro pen for the dots on the bauble.  The stickles is frosted lace and has been beaded to create the furry feel.

The image plate has been distressed with distress ink and little snowflakes stamped around the MFT pierced circle die.
